Continuing to honour the philosophy of “Quality House Music NO FILLERS”, Centric Music present their fourth release. It is a sparkling soul-kissed House gem from London’s Formation Soul, entitled Enjoy. The release follows on from Dazzle Drums’ hypnotic Elem, which was received rapturously.
Original Mix: Enjoy is a summery winner, with slick trumpeting, cool keys and a grooving live bassline. The icing on the cake is the feelgood vocal from Naomi Thompson, which demands listeners to have fun and enjoy their life.
Alex Martinez Remix: Alex Martinez supplies a brilliant remix for deeper floors, which still keeps the song intact. Playful keys, a reliable bass and energetic beats do the work on this mix.
Redsoul’s Jumbo Remix: Manchester’s David ‘RedSoul’ Wareing gives us a peaktime remix, where the bass comes to the fore. Bright keys and hefty beats partner Naomi’s positive vocals, but it’s the familiar bassline that really does the damage.
Greg Kozo Remix: Paris based Greg Kozo brings us an energetic workout, which is the most uplifting mix in the package. Bouncing beats and marauding synths hit home, with Naomi’s vocals taking on a diva like quality.
NoSweat Remix: A tougher version comes in the shape of the NoSweat Remix, which completes the collection. Powerful strings, chopped beats and a rough bassline throw shapes, with occasional appearances from Naomi’s vocals.
Mixes available to Traxsource

** First ever UK performance from the Masters At Work collaborator **
Raw Club returns to Corsica Studios this Saturday July 26th; welcoming a very special guest in the form of Sara Devine.
With a gospel background and backing vocal slots with the likes of Mary J Blige and Bilal under her belt, Sara’s now ready to showcase her own work to the world and has already been given the stamp of approval by Louie Vega, releasing her first singles on his Vega Records imprint. This will be Sara’s debut UK gig and one not to be missed for anyone that likes their stuff soulful and stirring.
There are singers who have the ability to hit the right notes and convey the emotion of the music. And then there are those for whom singing is more than just a talent they possess, it's more like their very reason for being, a force that drives them, a guiding passion of their lives.
From an early age it was clear that Sara Devine was more than just a woman who could sing. She was a woman who was placed on this earth to do just that. That singing was in her heart, her soul, and that someday her undeniable passion and purpose would bring Sara's brand of R&B to a wider audience and allow her to bless the world with her voice. Join us for what promises to be a "special" experience
Also on the bill for July is Ian Friday. Armed with a passion for the arts, Ian Friday is on a creative mission. The Tea Party also featured one of the hottest and well respected open mics in NYC as well as a party with Ian at the deejay helm.
Ian Friday launched his own label, TEA PARTY MUSIC, in the spring of 2006, featuring his original productions and features Erro, Corey Glover, Kelli Sae, Byron Moore and Shelley Nicole. Available until now from only Clickgroove & Traxsource, where pleased to say the Elem buzz is in full progress.
Elem Review :Jon Freer (Hearing is Believing)
Nagi and Kei Sugano aka Dazzle Drums bring us a simple yet beautiful Housefloor effort that really does have a hypnotic power. Polite keys, layered percussion and a fuzzy bassline lead the charge on the original version of Elem. Kiko Navarro adds a heavier percussive track and pointier keys on his equally entrancing Reprise version.
PS : We have added new mixes to the Centric Player including Cory's first mix of the year
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELEM Raw like sushi
On the back of limited promos and our exclusive download agreement with Traxsource & Clickgroove, it seems we are causing quite a stir ,with this magical release. And all this before its official Jan 08 release
Release of the week, Fish Go Deep - Go Deep Radio Show
Featured on Halo (City Deep) Buzzin Fly guest mix also Lars Behrenroth Deeper Shades Radio show
Number 4 in the Clickgroove download chart
DMC Update review (Greg Fenton)
Sounding like something from House music’s golden era comes this stunning reworking of ‘Elem’ by Kiko Navarro. What’s so good about this is the way the ‘Retronic’ version hits the acid button hard and fast in places but then off-sets things with clever, funky percussion and subtle, glassy pads elsewhere providing the arrangement with a sense of colour and occasion. There’s a great use of sounds too from the classic drum sounds of the eighties to today’s contemporary electronica. 4/5
Cory also has his December Top Ten featured on Traxsource. So all in all its does look like this will be our biggest release to date.
For the vinyl lover's not long now till you can get your hands on one of the limited 500 vinyl. Keep em peeled.

BOSSA SUN GROOVE

This is our second release and the first of two from a young producer by the name of Abi. Producing under the guise Formation Soul
We here at Centric are extremely delighted to have secured two tracks
from this up and coming talent. First up we have
Bossa Sun Groove. A stunning Brazilian House
tune with whispered vocals as smooth as a Mojito
with double rum. The live instruments used
throughout the track certainly draws you closer to
the groove.
We had no choice but to draft in the big guns
for remix duty on this Two guys who require
no introduction both responsible for timeless
classic house grooves.
Centric welcomes Bruno Banner & Dj Rocco.
Bruno Banner
Born in the 70's in Paris, Bruno Banner grew up
listening to funk, disco, hip hop, electro and early
house music". With his high school friend Fudge,
the duo became the Trouble Men. Credits include
Party Rockin’, In the air (featuring Colonel Abrams), Wildpitch, Underground, and Take control.
Bruno's remix features a monumental kick reminiscent
of a Salsoul disco classic. It takes the remix in a
different direction "techin" it out with some storming
keys,
Dj Rocco
One third of super group Rodamaal and an extremely talented producer in his own right. Three tracks on the forthcoming Cielo compilation pay testament to that.
The Rocco remix features a new baseline, which
hustle
along like PIMP.
Feedback we have received from the limited promos passed to tastemakers has been very positive, with support from Osunlade, Jamie Thinnes, Marlon D, Alex Attias, Halo, Jordan Riveria, Dave Redsoul, Franco Martinell, Greg Kozo, Davidson Ospina
and DJ Romain
We will be releasing limited Vinyl on the 18th June,
with MP3 downloads available with three unreleased mixes due on 9th July
